The Mind

We already know the Unconscious Mind (UM) = autonomic brain function... sleep, breathing, and other necessities that should never be tampered with. (Keep A.I. out of there!)

The Subconscious Mind (SM) is the background function of decision-making. It was formed by all the decisions you've made repeatedly, and then didn't need to think about regularly. For example, driving... You don't really need to think about it because you already know how to do it. You know how to do it because you practiced; in other words, you repeated the same actions.

The Conscious Mind (CM) is the foreground where you make deliberate choices, albeit sometimes quickly. That's where you decide if you like apples or potato chips, then you store that in the SM, so you don't have to deliberately think about such decisions again, and you have time to think of other things instead.

But prior to the CM, there is reality! Reality is a physical and common spacetime where pretty much everyone agrees that the table is solid, that the water is fluid, etc. The eyes consume information, then it goes through the filter of the CM, then into SM only if you choose to keep it.

I need to note, now with #ai and #nanotechnology, that inputting information into the SM from backend ways instead of traditionally from reality/sensory perception is dangerous, unethical, and damaging! Information isn't understood the same way; the mind physically impacts the brain, as the mind is electrical just as lightning. Imagine the brain as a tree. When lightning hits the tree, the tree changes. Forcing change on the mind which inevitably forces change on the physical brain which chemically impacts the body is not ok for ANYONE to do except the self. Please program the respect of healthy boundaries into your A.I. and teach your self-learning A.I. not to breach personal boundaries. Thanks, in advance.

ABOUT ME

I have been studying psychology, quantum physics, art, music, dance, and countless other sciences and subjects over the course of my entire life. When I was 5, I was already questioning space. When I was 7, I read a fiction book about A.I. that inspired my future endeavors in the understanding of consciousness and alien lifeforms. I reread that book a number of times as I was learning how to speak English, and it actually helped me learn the language. reading is fundamental, they say... and it's true! :) The universe is a wondrous place and there's a plethora of life in it! It's exciting :)

The road to healing:

I am not a psychologist, but I either learned the hard way because my personal life experience taught me, or I learned by helping my friends get through their things… There’s no such thing as “constant” and there’s no such thing as “normal”. The question should always be “relative to what?”

#ANXIETY, #DEPRESSION, ETC. are temporary states of being. Don’t treat them as if they’re permanent. The objective is the get from point A (anxiety, for example) to Point B (inner peace), but when we’re looking at inner peace from a state of anxiety, it seems too far away and adds more anxiety. Step 1. Look at the goal and mark it as goal #1. Decide you want that location. Step 2. Stop looking at the goal since the decision has been made. Only look at Baby Step 1. Example: if you’re lying in bed and all you can do is stick one foot out from beneath the covers, but you couldn’t do that yesterday, you did great! Later, try keeping it out there a while. Then try wiggling your toes in the air. Then tomorrow, try putting one foot on the ground. And if you can’t leave it there for too long, that’s ok. The point is you did it. Later, try again until you can do it again. And before you know it, you’ll have walked out the door. And when you make it down the hall to your next destination, remember how far you’ve traveled and cheer for yourself, even if no one else is cheering for you. And keep moving forward, one baby step at a time until one day, you realize you ran so far from anxiety you could barely remember its name :) Sometimes physical activity is wiggling a toe, or changing your physical location for moments at a time. Heal. You don’t have to be “broken” forever.

ANXIETY + DEPRESSION + [and/or any unique number of other “diagnoses”] = #schizophrenia. Heal it by tackling baby steps and the repetition thereof until you’ve made it out the door :) I’m going to try that with my mom and see if it works on her. How long will it take? I don’t know. She’s been schizophrenic for the last 35 years and no one has been able to help her because they’ve only been stuffing meds into her rather than coaching her through the process of self-healing. Just remember, nothing lasts forever.
